Trivia Question #4

What parts of the world have the highest incidence of Multiple Sclerosis? Feel free to include any additional information about MS distribution and demography.

It is more common is areas with temparate climates such as North America, Southern Canada, Southeaster Australia, and Europe

Women are affected more than men, almost twice as much. Although older patients developing the condition are more evenly balanced. Whites or Caucasians are twice as likely to suffer from MS as other races.

Multiple sclerosis is 5 times more likely in temperate regions, such as Europe, than in tropical regions. Canada has the highest incidence with countries like Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Scotland following closely.

Maybe you need to do a ride across Canada next year!
